So yes, being able to do the EotN farms is a part of the reason why they are the best farming profession. And in terms of profit, Elementalist is also more efficient at farming than a monk. Why? Because an elementalist's farming run is shorter than the monks. Which means they can farm at a faster rate, and hence do more farms in a time frame than a monk can.

Elementalist can also solo boss run like no other with the E/A SF/Sliver armor farmer, and yes, better than an A/E because higher damage sliver = faster boss kills. This translates to elite tome farming, which can still sell for decent money these days.

As stated before, monks are great farmers if your first learning how to farm and want to make some money. When you've got the hang of that, then you go to something like Necro or rit sacrificing survivability for speed. But in terms of profit and efficiency, elementalist hands down.
Haha you seriously don't have to tell ME what an ele can do.
But seriously 600/smite is pretty much THE universal farm nowadays....which is easier to do with a monk than an ele.
Last I heard eles couldn't do 600/smite solo dungeons...(correct me if I'm wrong, I don't much care for dungeons.)

But it is really close, calling someone a noob for saying monk can make more money than an ele is pretty dumb...

Don't take me wrong
Earth magic ftw

Actually I believe almost all caster professions at least can 600/smite dungeons, theres a thread about it here somewhere.

Try farming on a character you hate playing, and then farming on a character you love playing.

Then think long term.

P.S. Any profession can farm noobs for the big money.

I have, really I don't play my rit for anything other then farming. How much you like a profession has nothing to do with how efficent they are at earning cash. I don't care if I dislike the profession, if it makes me money then I'll play it. I love playing on my ele but she doesn't make as much money as my rit except on holiday weekends.
